These bitches thought they could film a trailer without telling Thranduil. NOT SO.
Never-ending list of flawless books: The Hobbit
I like visitors as much as the next hobbit. But I do like to know them before they come visit.
In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit…
75 years ago, J.R.R. Tolkien got his first book published and the first door to Middle-earth eventually opened itself to the world. Generations have been reading and loving the story about the ordinary and pacific hobbit that suddenly saw himself taking part of an exciting and perilous adventure that required him to found within courage that was first unknown.
But what’s the reason behind it’s huge success? In my humble opinion, as a fierce reader, J.R.R. Tolkien brought back the ingenious and meaningful fairy-tales to the world, a story ingrained in life lessons such as friendship, loyalty, bravery, endurance and faith, a story that everyone can relate to. And that’s the magic of it: discovering you’re much more than you thought you were when facing difficult times.
Thanks J.R.R. Tolkien, once again. Happy 75th Anniversary of the Hobbit Publication! AND MERRY TOLKIEN WEEK!Talytha (tolkienianos’ owner)
The pines were roaring on the height,
The wind was moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light
